                                         “Numerology” is the study of the mystical significance of numbers and their influence on human life. It often involves assigning meanings to numbers based on their vibrations and the belief that numbers can reveal insights about personality, life events, and destiny.

                            The origins of numerology can be traced back thousands of years to ancient civilizations. The Babylonians used numbers for various purposes, including astrology and predictions. they belives that number had a divine essence and were key to understanding to universe, in egypt saw numbers are magical and spiritual linked , and usedthem to understand the humansouland guide spiritual growth, in  Greece civilization , the Greek philosopher Pythogoras done a lot of work and invention on numerology and till today we all follow his guidelines to better understand numerology. he belived that all things vibrated to their own numbers and that there is a divine order of lifethat can be understood by numbers. similarly in ome civilization, in 325a.d. numerology referred to as isopsephy, remain in use in conservative greek orthodox circles. In India numerology can be traced back to some oldest vedas [ 1500-2000BCE], it is also used by Chinese civilisation in their day to day life in the name of Feng Shui sine ancient time, also we seen sign of numerology in ancient Japnese civilization .

1.Pythagorean System: The Greek philosopher Pythagoras (c. 570–495 BCE) is often credited with formalizing numerology. He believed that numbers held intrinsic meanings and that they could explain the universe’s structure. His ideas laid the foundation for much of Western numerology.He uses a place value system to to assign numbers to letters of the latin alphabets. Also he reduces all numbers to single digit number 1 to 9 and master numbers 11, 22,33. Life path number, soul urge number, expression number, birthday number and personality number are the impornant numbers which he used to present whole personality of a particular person.
2. Chaldean system ; it is a lesser known type of numerology, of the 19 th century. It is a hardest numerology to learn , because of its comlicated to understand, he limited the numbers used for name letter is 1- 8 and only two number are important one represent your outer personality traits and other your inner personality. 
3.Kabbalah: In Jewish mysticism, particularly Kabbalah, numerology plays a significant role. The Hebrew alphabet has numerical values, and 2 scholars interpreted texts based on these numbers to uncover deeper meanings.they recognizes that every person made up of energyand adds on world’s energy
4.vedic  numerology ;  It is a indian branch of numerology started in tamil region and it is oldest type of numerology used in world. it focuses on perceptions, one’s destiny number is important in this, which highlights persons weaknesses and strengths, it explains how people learn and grow from each life experiences
            Modern Numerology: In the 20th century, numerology gained popularity, especially with the works of authors like L. Dow Balliett and later, Ruth A. Drayer.
